This Privacy Policy explains how Divot ("Divot," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

01

Information we collect.

We collect personal and usage data in the following ways:

02

How we use it.

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including:

App Tracking Transparency. Where required by law or platform policies (including Apple's ATT framework), Divot will request your permission before tracking your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies.

03

How we share it.

We may share information with the following categories of recipients, where permitted by law and consistent with user choices:

Divot does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration unless opted in by the user.

04

Your choices & rights.

05

Data retention.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution).

Derived / Aggregated Data. We may retain aggregated, de-identified, derived, or inferred data that does not reasonably identify you, including after account deletion, and may use it for analytics, benchmarking, research, product improvement, and commercial insights.

06

Security.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

07

Divot is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

08

Children's privacy.

Divot may be used by individuals under the age of 18. We apply age-appropriate protections to accounts we reasonably believe belong to minors. Sharing of personal contact information with golf courses occurs only if the user explicitly opts in (and may be revoked), location sharing requires affirmative permission and can be disabled at any time, and we may conduct contextual advertising to minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that data in accordance with applicable law.

09

The Service may include links to third-party websites, services, or integrations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their policies.

10
